Simply turn the handle on the top of the filter and it will vigorously flick the sides of the internal filter sponges dislodging dirt & debris.
The dirt exits the filter via a dedicated waste outlet - uniquly this is tapped so there are no more leak problems!
The large filter chamber is packed full of top quality foam media and this along with a powerful UVC means the filter can be used for large ponds up to 20,000 litres.
